Heirs’ Property & Community Preservation

This initiative focuses on addressing the challenges of heirs’ property—land passed down informally through generations without clear legal titles. This issue disproportionately affects historically under-served communities, leading to land loss, barriers to wealth generation, and community fragmentation. The initiative combines community education, affordable legal services, and policy advocacy to help families secure their property rights, preserve generational wealth, and strengthen community resilience. By fostering collaboration with local organizations and leveraging resources for estate planning and land management, this advocacy aims to protect these vital assets for future generations.
