UF Law Celebrates Constitution Day 2026

University of Florida Levin College of Law celebrated Constitution Day on September 17, 2026, with a discussion on “The Supreme Court Year in Review”. Held in the Chesterfield Smith Ceremonial Classroom, the event convened a distinguished group of UF Law faculty members to examine the pivotal rulings, emerging jurisprudential trends, and historic moments from the most recent U.S. Supreme Court term.

Throughout the session, faculty panelists — Professors Cory Evans, Berta Hernández-Truyol, Ben Johnson, Matthew Kim, Gary Lawson, Jonathan Marshfield, and Madeleine Sligh — drew on their varied expertise to offer comprehensive analysis on how the Court’s latest decisions continue to reshape the nation’s legal landscape.

The free event was open to the public and attracted law students, local practitioners, and community members.
