Terms & Conditions
The College of Law’s meeting spaces are generally available 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and some pre-approved weekend hours. Most areas of the College of Law require swipe card access by UF Law faculty, staff, or students after 5:00p.m. weekdays and all weekend. If you are concerned that your confirmed event may exceed this timeframe, please email events@law.ufl.edu.
If your event requires funding, please submit a UF Law Fund Request as soon as possible. You may find it in the list above under #2. Students, faculty, and staff planning to fund their events with law school resources must submit and receive an approved fund request before their event takes place. Fund requests can take up to two weeks to complete, so it is recommended that they are submitted as early as possible.
Tabling activities may be held, with prior approval, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in designated areas of the College of Law campus. Tables and chairs may be checked in and out from the Administrative Hub (164 Holland Hall).
All room(s) reserved should be left clean and organized following an event. The individual/organization reserving the room(s) may be held responsible for any damages and charged cleaning, repair, or replacement fees.
You must have prior approval to serve food during your event. Food is only allowed in specific rooms, and food served at events on campus must comply with vendor and safety policies. Never leave food-related garbage in interior trashcans. Carry all trash to the nearest dumpster following an event.
If your confirmed event requires technical equipment or special A/V support, or if you would like an introduction to the technical equipment in your assigned space(s), please submit an IT Support ticket. Note that UF Law classroom computers only have VGA port connections. The College of Law does not have Mac or HDMI adaptors available.
You may not use University of Florida logos or language implying collaboration or endorsement of your program or event without express permission from the appropriate UF authority.
All devices connecting to campus WiFi are now required to have up-to-date security. Please click on the following link and follow the instructions on how to access UF’s internet. Users not configured to the new network may experience internet timeout sessions or loss of online work. Please contact the Help Desk at 392-HELP (392-4357) for assistance.
The use of cigarettes or other tobacco products anywhere on campus, including parking lots, is not permitted and a violation of UF policy 6C1-2.022.
The student(s) or faculty/staff member(s) making this reservation agree to and accept all of the above terms.
