Parking & Transportation

Parking permit holders may use designated lots near the law school and throughout campus. For general parking information go to UF Transportation and Parking.
In addition to UF parking, there are approximately 90 parking spaces available at the Campus View Church, a few blocks from the Law School on SW 2nd Avenue. Campus View has an application on their website. Go to the bottom of the page. The church charges $100 each for fall and spring semesters. Parking is not available during the summer. Call at 352-378-1471.
“All Permit” facilities (meaning anybody with a valid UF permit may park) are commonly referred to as “Park and Ride” due to the shuttle service running from these facilities to the core of campus. Visit the Regional Transit System website for campus bus routes and scheduling information.
Visitor Parking
Visitors requiring parking accommodations at the Levin College of Law during hours of permit restriction (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless signage in the area indicates otherwise) must display a one-day parking permit from the rear-view mirror. The one-day parking permit can be obtained in the Welcome Center during regular business hours. In order to obtain a one-day parking permit, you must provide your vehicle license tag number. For more information go to UF Visitor Parking.
Biking
There is an extensive network of bike lanes, paths, and trails on campus that allow for safe and quick travel. If you ride a bike, you will need a “U-shaped” lock for security and a headlight and a rear taillight if you plan to ride after dark. For more information, explore the state of Florida bicycle laws.
Bus Service
The City of Gainesville has an extensive bus system that covers both the city and UF campus. Students and employees may ride any Regional Transit System (RTS) bus fare free by showing the driver your UF Gator One ID card. Most RTS buses are equipped with bike racks. The bus routes cover nearly all of the apartment complexes in Gainesville and run frequently. Click here to view routes and schedules.
