UF Law students engage in journals, competition teams, and other student organizations to broaden their legal experience, build community, and enrich life beyond the classroom. 

Competition Teams


  • Environmental Moot Court Team
    A student-run organization that explores environmental law issues and competes each year in the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition at Pace Law School in New York.
  • Florida ADR Team
    Founded in 2011, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team develops students’ negotiation and advocacy skills through co-curricular competitions and training.
  • Florida Moot Court Team
    Governed by the Justice Campbell Thornal Executive Board, the team competes in intramural, state, and national appellate advocacy competitions.
  • Florida Tax Moot Court Team
    Focused on tax law and related issues, the team competes in intramural, state, and national appellate competitions.
  • International Commercial Arbitration Moot (ICAM)
    Represents UF Law each spring in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot, competing against law schools from around the world.
  • Trial Team
    Competes in intramural, state, regional, and national trial advocacy competitions organized by courts, firms, and professional associations.
