Financial Services & Estate Planning

The MSL Program’s Financial Services & Estate Planning concentration serves professionals working in finance, tax, and estate planning. It combines core principles of taxation with wealth management, fiduciary duty, and estate planning, all approached from a legal perspective. Students gain the legal literacy needed to analyze financial regulation, support estate planning decisions, and work effectively alongside attorneys and financial advisors.

“I entered the MSL program to improve my business acumen involving Tax, Financial Services and Estate Planning, but I have gotten so much more. First, each and every professor has cared about me as a student, and I mean they really care. They have taken the time to know me, share their insights, and ensure my success in the program. The content of the courses has been applicable to my career, and I feel that I have achieved a level of expertise that is noticed by others. As a working professional, I have been able to successfully carry two to 3 courses per semester thanks to the set-up of the program, and I am on course to graduate in just two years”
